it finally happened...

I never thought I could emass such a collection... but...

I've completely filled up my ipod...

30 gigs of music and video in my pocket...

but... damn... it kinda makes me want to go out and buy the 60 gig... just because... you know... I apparently have a need... since I actually had to REMOVE things so I could update the new stuff...

maybe for xmas... I mean... this video ipod isn't even a year old yet... but me thinks I might be needing an upgrade

well... that's not entirely true... I doctored it in photoshop... since there wasn't an ipod available... and there weren't any pirate flags either... and the headphones were the wrong color... and I needed to make the hair darker... and the lipstick...

I own over 150 pairs of shoes... from the beat up 10 hole docs that I got when I was in the 7th grade (and REFUSE to throw away) to the black patent leather 4 inch heels that I bought yesterday...

my love affair with footwear has its bumps in the road... money (or lack there of)... closet space... the fact that I wear a size 11 (or 12 depending on the shoe) so finding cute shoes that also fit me (well) is like a treasure hunt...

did I mention that I'm 5'10''

oh and my husband is 5'7... on a good day...

but he really digs me being super tall...

I should probably go on a shoe DIET... since I'm running out of places to put them (for my birthday my mom got me a "shoe wardrobe" which is like this cool cabinet designed to hold shoes... it'll only fit like 20 pairs... so it's not exactly a solution)

I'm like Mos Def in The Italian Job remake... I need a room for all my shoes... wouldn't that be awesome... I've gone through so many shoe phases too... I used to wear platforms... and I could run a mile in them... seriously... then when the husband and I started dating... I switched to flats and flip flops... since I'd never really dated or been interested in short guys... (but... LOVE... whatcha gonna do)... I've been into sneakers and boots (I was on the Ugg train way back in 95)and I only recently started getting back into cute high heels...

one of my favorite things is to just go into a store and randomly pull all the boxes that are my size off the shelves and just try on shoes like a crazy person...
